13/P/01203 - Morrisons Local - Ash Wharf

We have been advised that a new Planning Application No. 13/P/01203 has been presented to Guildford Borough Council requesting permission to convert the Standard Pub (158, Ash Hill Road, Ash Wharf) into a Morrison's Supermarket. There are obvious implications given that a new Tesco's was recently built a mile away in Ash Vale, and that Budgen's is almost adjacent to the old Standard Pub site.
